Education and Experience

Master in Psychology in 1998 and PhD. in Psychology in 2001, Habilitation, Doc., in 2014, Inauguration, Prof., in 2019 at Comenius University Bratislava, in Slovakia.

Work with youth, adults and couples in different Counselling facilities since 2001.

Private practice since 2007, my license is registered in the Slovak Chamber of Psychologists.

Certificate of Psychotherapy in Slovak Republic, the directory of psychotherapists in Slovak Republic.

I work as a therapist for psychotherapy trainees too.

I work as a professor at the Institute of Applied Psychology of Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at the Comenius  University

Also, I do coach and train various kinds of soft skills such as communication skills, managerial skills, mediation, conflict management, time management, team building etc.

My psychotherapy work is regularly supervised  and I am happy to keep on learning and training in this area: the Systemic Institute, basic and advanced training in Compassion focused therapy, the Gottman method for couple therapy, and therapy of Virginia Satir. I have also certificates for community building.

I have completed long-term trainings in Emotion Focused Therapy for individuals, couples, and families, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples in Ireland, Italy, Germany, Norway, China, and Canada.
